The Integrated Poultry Processors Association

Greater South has been recognized as instrumental in organizing Executives representing a broad group of poultry processors at the International Poultry Show in Atlanta in January 1993.

These executives expressed immediate interest and wanted to form an association that would benefit members with a variety of services. Simply put by one founding member, Albin S. Johnson, "There is strength in numbers".

This core group became the foundation of the Integrated Poultry Processors Association (IPPA). The IPPA evolved into a cooperative venture utilizing members combined resources to provide a platform for shared interests. This platform placed the IPPA members squarely in a strategic position to reduce member costs thus allowing a level playing field with the world's largest poultry processors.

A solid association of very active members continues to accomplish the mission today.
